Haeundae Sand Festival

It was pretty much what you'd expect by it's title: A million people, live music, hands-on stuff for the kids, sand-castle-building competitions. It was the latter that attracted me to walk down to the end of the beach. There were the usual castles, faces, fish, mermaids... And this. Very cung. Any foreigner will instantly recognise this sand creation of the common Korean squat toilet....

Ahh, Korea.

Wow. That's a crazy mad toilet.

See, I read your post as soon as I noticed it come up on my RSS reader. I'm a creature of habit.

whoa, how did i miss this? i must say i'm not terribly impressed by the pile of dung within the squatter. koreans sure aren't imaginative when it comes to making art regarding their excrements; my kids draw the same picture on the black board all the time. and why it is a reoccurring theme within the "art" here is completely beyond me.
